Spondylartrosis
Advice:
This is a sign of wear of the joints between the vertebrae. The pain often is variable.
If you overload the back you will have more pain. After a few days rest the pain will usually diminish.
You will have moments with more pain and moments with less pain. Though not nice it is not harmful. Take care to move regularly. You can strain your back and you can do your work normally. But take care also to rest.
Painkillers will help against pain (not against the cause) Especialy NSAIDs like ibuprofen, diclofenac or naproxen will help, but with prolonged use they can cause side effects so ask your doctor about them.
The pain often diminishes after a period of 3-5 years.
