| The author of this site is Co Nijman. For 25 years he practised as a general practitioner in Holland and also trained as osteopath (Stichting Manuele Geneeskunde in Eindhoven)
The program for this website has been developed over years and is being continually improved by practical experience. Originally it was meant for trainees of general practise, but this version has been made to let patients make their own diagnosis via int The program www.backtest.co.uk can be used for two reasons: : 1e Use by the patient to see what is the problable cause of the backpain. the explanation and the advice can help to lessen the backpain. 2e The doctor or fysiotherapist askes the patient to use this site. In prepatarion to the consult the patient can relexed at home think about and answere the questions. The answeres can be printed. The patient can bring them to the consult. The questions and examinations apply different diagnoses. The diagnosis with most points is shown as most probable diagnosis at the end . If only a few points seperate a second or third diagnosis, these are alsoo shown. Following the diagnosis a short explanation and advice is given. |
