www.backtest.co.uk has been made by Co Nijman, general practitioner in Holland from 1976 till 2001. After the training as a general practitioner I have had an training for manuele therapie (osteopathy) in Eindhoven.

This improved the diagnostic possibilities for backpain. Nowadays it is one of the standard possibilities physiotherapists offer. Many general practitioners send their patients to physiotherapists for osteopathy.

In the nineties I trained students in general practice at the University of Rotterdam in diagnostics for backpain. To assist training I made a diagnostic scheme.

That was the basic scheme for the program WWW.BACKTEST.CO.UK

Afer the conclusion of my practice I produced a website to make it possible for everybody to make a diagnosis of low back pain. The program is based on the guidelines of the Dutch sientific organisation of general practitioners (this is about the same as the guidelines from the British organisation of general practitioners), together with some diagnostics from osteopathy.
